Preventive Maintenance is a computer software program developed by Cargill Animal Nutrition for feed manufacturing facilities. This program reduces repairs and downtime by systematically maintaining a feed plant.

How It Works

With Preventive Maintenance, a plant routinely lubricates, inspects, cleans and replaces (if necessary) equipment components based upon a schedule. These schedules are normally determined by time, statistics, or an activity. Cost effective, condition-monitoring technologies are used to help determine appropriate frequencies for preventive maintenance. Preventive maintenance also includes replacement or refurbishment of equipment during scheduled shutdowns.

Benefits

·         This is the first feed mill-specific maintenance program in the industry. 

·         The Cargill program can also be ordered from the Repete Corporation, and can be compatibly integrated with their high performance automation systems.
